This app is probably known by many already. To those that don't know, crawl out from under your rock and download it asap. Free App A Day first lets you submit one "wish" per day, one app that you would love to see become free for a single day. They will work with the developers to try to make their app absolutely free. The incentives for the developers would be greater exposure, more reviews, more feedback or just to get their forgotten app back into the spotlight again. The result for you is a new free app, every single day. If you don't like games, Free App A Day may not be as useful to you. Probably about 90% of all free apps to date have been games. Once in a while a utility or tool may appear but if you aren't into games, you may be waiting a while before you find something useful.

Now you may be asking yourself, what's the catch? How can Free App A Day make an app available at no charge every day? Well it's true. You can download the app and try it out. If you like it, it's yours to keep forever. If you don't like it, delete it. You are encouraged to leave a review and make your daily wish, however all of this is optional. FAAD has push notifications which will remind you each day of your free app. Although the apps are technically free for one day, they usually stay in the free app screen for about 5 days before they are removed, some remaining free afterwards in a section called "Featured Free Apps". FAAD has managed to make some pretty big names free, of note are World Series of Poker and Civilizations Revolutions to name a couple, the latter usually carrying a price tag of $6.99. If you enjoy games on your iPhone then you have absolutely no excuse to not have this app installed.
